WHAT Is the Global Training Institute for Women (GTIW)?
An opportunity for women (who would otherwise be unable) to receive Bible training and resources without having to leave their local region
A three-year regional training program of two sessions per year.
Each session will be:

Three to five days long
-
Taught by a team of committed, experienced Bible teachers from the U.S. and the local region
An intensive curriculum that will equip women in:
- Bible understanding
- Character development
- Ministry skills

WHY the Global Training Institute for Women (GTIW)?
Women around the world are consistently degraded, devalued, and demoralized by the cultures in which they live. Christians are no exception. Believers struggle to grasp the truth that God loves them unconditionally and has given them utmost value as His image-bearers.
Consider these facts for the Middle East, where the GTIW is scheduled to launch in 2012:
- Christians are in the minority, making up only 4.75 percent of the population
- Middle Eastern women have limited opportunity for biblical education
- The Middle East is heavily influenced by Islam. A woman’s identity there is forged in the context of family relationships and cultural norms, and most of these norms are not biblically based
- Find out more about the need in the Middle East
The divide is deep between God’s truth and the lies of a woman’s culture. The abyss is impossible to cross over without a little help.
That’s where the Global Training Institute for Women comes in. Each woman who completes this program will:
- Embrace a biblical worldview
- Be strengthened in her true identity as an image-bearer of the living God
- Actively utilize her spiritual gifts for the expansion of God’s Kingdom in her home country
- Establish strong and healthy relational ties with others
- Be equipped to boldly reach out as women of influence in their own communities
Grounded in the Word, these women will become world-changers...victoriously passing on to others life, truth, and freedom in Christ!
WHEN and WHERE Will the Institute Launch?
Inaugral sessions will launch in Spring 2012 in Eastern Europe.
The first students will graduate in 2015
Future locations will be determined as the needs become clear and as funding allows. God willing, the Middle East will be the second Institute to launch.
